With the entry into force of the new Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on May 25, 2018, the legislature has made high demands on the legality of the processing of personal data (data processing).
Data protection in the company Personal data are treated carefully and stored securely, because Art. 32 GDPR obliges those responsible to guarantee and document a level of protection appropriate to the data protection risk.
Transparent information Art. 12 GDPR requires data subjects to be made transparent in understandable language and by means of suitable measures, which interactions initiate which data processing processes, what they are required for and what happens to the collected data. We comply with this obligation with this data protection declaration to the best of our knowledge.
Data protection officer According to § 38 BDSG in conjunction with Art. 37 GDPR there is no legal obligation to appoint a data protection officer.
Business-related data processing As part of our business activities, we process personal data (such as the name, address, name and date of birth of your child, telephone, email), contract data (such as the name of the child, duration) and payment data (such as the bank details) of our customers, interested parties and business partners exclusively for the purpose of providing contractual services and for service and customer care. A transfer to third parties does not take place, unless it is necessary to pursue our claims (legal dispute, debt collection) or there is a legal obligation to transfer according to. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. If we use special service providers (such as a tax consultant) for data processing, this order data processing is based on a contract in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
Right to information, storage periods and deletion According to Art. 15 GDPR, data subjects have a right to information regarding the personal data stored about them. Of course, we also respect the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR). However, a short-term deletion of stored data is regularly opposed to statutory retention periods. We check the necessity of storage every two years; the data is usually deleted when the statutory archiving obligations expire.
Order data processing hosting For the purpose of our online offer, internal data transmission and our email communication, we use the services of a professional hosting provider who provides us with computer capacity and storage space as well as infrastructure, maintenance and security services that are customary in the industry.
